Tom Daugherty’s background in construction began in the mid 1970’s, during which he oversaw installation of structural framing components for large residential and commercial projects. In the 1980’s his construction related training went on to include architectural planning, development and design. This led to a lengthy career as both site foreman and superintendent in residential construction projects. He further developed his construction related expertise in the area of electrical system design and installation. In 1989, Tom joined Countywide’s team of inspectors. His eye for detail and diverse knowledge of building codes allowed Tom to be a major contributor to Countywide’s inspection checklist and narrative reports.
